Digital Health Services
Healthcare is in the first stages of a digital transformation and there are new rules to manage patient, payer, and provider data. Some of these rules are due to regulation, some are established by industry practices and others are based on habit within the healthcare organizations.
According to Gartner, the new conception of information management in digital healthcare must take in consideration the consumers' experience, healthcare enterprises are joined by all the business units and stakeholders outside the industry, and while population-level analytics remain important measures (cost, utilization, and satisfaction) must be aggregated at the consumer level to target new customers, optimize product and service offerings and drive front line operations.

For more than 5 years, we have been working with a medical group administrator in Puerto Rico that manages both Medicaid and Medicare medical groups. Due to that experience we had, we understood the needs of managing the risk of patients, the importance of having a 360 degree view of the patients, the critical value of improving utilization, and finding new ways to improve healthcare quality measures, among other opportunities to automate healthcare business processes for better efficiency.
After working with organizations such medical groups, electronic health records companies, hospitals, and health plans, we came a simple but power concept...Connecting Health Care in a New Way which after a couple of weeks transformed to One Connection to Health Care under the brand of dHealth Connect. The idea was simple, use one platform to connect all data sources that are related to patients, providers, and patients.
dHealth Connect is a combination of applications modularized that allow healthcare organizations and administrators to have all relevant data in one place. This allow a 360 degree view of the patient, provider and payer data in one platform.
